Blitzen IPTV: installing a line on any streaming device
Installation is the part people worry about and it is the part that almost never goes wrong. Whatever the service is called, the process is the same on every device, and it takes about five minutes.
What you need before you start
Have these to hand and there is nothing else to prepare.
A player app installed on the device
A server address, a username and a password
Or a single playlist link, if that is what you were given
The device connected to the internet, ideally by cable on the main TV

Open the player. Choose to add a user, a profile or a playlist – the wording differs but the option is always near the top. Paste the server address, type the username and password exactly as given, and save. The channel list downloads, the guide fills in behind it, and you are watching.
The two things that go wrong
Almost every failed setup is one of two mistakes. The first is a typo in the credentials, usually a capital letter or a confusion between the digit one and a lowercase L. The second is pasting the server address with a trailing slash or a missing port number. Retype rather than reread, and both disappear.
If it still shows nothing
Test the same credentials in a different player on the same device. If they fail there too, the line is the problem and not the app – and a line is replaceable in the same five minutes.
