Mega OTT is another name that circulates widely through reseller listings. As with most names in this market, the thing being sold is a line, and the name on the invoice tells you very little about which server you will actually end up on.
How resold names work
One source panel is sold to resellers, who sell it on under their own names, sometimes several layers deep. That is why the same brand can be excellent for one buyer and unusable for another – they are not on the same server. It is also why a name can vanish overnight: the layer you bought from disappears, not necessarily the source.
The checks that survive the name
Since the brand is unreliable information, judge the things you can measure yourself.
EPG accuracy on your channels, a week ahead
Catch-up depth, if you use it
The real simultaneous-device limit
A support channel that answers before payment
If the line you have has stopped
Nothing needs to be reinstalled. Keep the same player and device, and enter new credentials – a server URL, username and password, or a new M3U link. Test the replacement while the old one is still in place if you can, so you are judging both on the same evening rather than from memory.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mega OTT IPTV reliable?
It depends entirely on which reseller layer you buy from, since they do not all run the same servers.
What do I do if my line stops working?
Keep the player and device, and replace the credentials with a working line. There is nothing to reinstall.
Why do prices differ so much for the same name?
Because different resellers are selling different things under it, at different margins.
