Most sellers in this market offer a trial, and most buyers waste it. A trial used for five minutes in the afternoon proves almost nothing. Used properly, it answers every question that matters before any money changes hands.
Servers are fine at 10am. The whole question is what happens at 8pm on a weekday, or during a match, when everyone on that server is watching at once. Ask for the trial deliberately at that hour. A service that holds up then will hold up for you; one that only works off-peak will disappoint you in week one.
Work through your own list, not a demo list. Five minutes per item is enough.
Be careful with a “free trial” that asks for card details up front, and with a seller who will only give you a trial after payment – that is not a trial. Very short trials measured in minutes are also close to useless, since the problems you are testing for only appear over time. And if a seller refuses a trial altogether while claiming thousands of channels, the refusal is your answer.
